Frequently Asked Questions

Does TabPulsar see my passwords or page content?

No. TabPulsar only tracks which domain you're visiting (e.g., "slack.com") and how long you spend there. It never reads page content, URLs, form data, or credentials.

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored locally on your device in your browser's storage (IndexedDB and chrome.storage.local). Nothing is sent to external servers. If you uninstall the extension, all data is permanently deleted.

How do I add a subscription cost?

Open the TabPulsar dashboard, find the app in your tracked list, and click the cost field to enter your monthly subscription price. TabPulsar will then calculate cost-per-minute and waste scores.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Pro and Team plan users can export usage data as CSV or JSON files from the dashboard. Free plan users have access to basic data views.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime from the extension's upgrade page. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. For help, email support@tabpulsar.site.

I paid for Pro but it still shows Free?

Try clicking "Restore License" on the upgrade page. If the issue persists, email us at support@tabpulsar.site with your license key or purchase email and we'll resolve it immediately.

Does TabPulsar work with other browsers?

TabPulsar currently supports Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc). Firefox support is planned for a future release.
